I decided to base my project off this this heart tree. The way I made it original is I made the background black and the trunk of the tree white so I could make the hearts pop really easily. The picture on the left is the original and the picture on the left is the first trunk sketch I made. I then made the final which is the bottom one by cutting out hearts out of magazines. I learned that making artwork takes time and that you can get frustrated but if you really get into it you appreciate the work you have made.
I like how you drew it out on scratch paper first. it showed that you really cared on how you do.

I love how you cut out each little heart and put it on the tree and that made it look like leaves in fall. It must have taken a really long time to cut each individual heat and glue it on the tree just right. Nice work!
Rachel, you did an amazing job with this tree! I love all the hearts on it. Their varied sizes and shapes really make it pop. I also love your color scheme. The pinks with purple mixed in look great! Fabulous job!
